Safety Nets
EXCELLENT NETWORKING IS ONE OF THE GREAT QUALITIES OF OUR TEXTILES.
Our experience with durable textiles for outdoor use brought us early to the idea to develop safety nets for temporary or permanent fences that can resist extreme wind and weather exposures.
Several product variations of safety nets are available. Our fencing materials were developed for special use against snow and sand, dust and wind or sunlight.
By the end of 2020 more than 310 Miles of BRAIDED safety nets for snow and sand have been sold. To complement our product system, we also offer a wide range of accessories like fence posts, fixings etc. for all nets.

OUR SAFETY NETS IN USE AGAINST SNOW AND SAND
The PROTECT S2 safety net system is used, for example, along wind-prone routes in and around Erfurt over a total length of around 12,000 meter (7.5 miles).
In the past, the lack of wind protection on roads along large agricultural areas led to problems with snow drift in winter.
The system was installed in autumn 2021 with the help of a small wheel loader and a pneumatic pile rack to protect the roads.
PROTECT S2 SNOW FENCE - PROTECTION AGAINST SNOW AND SAND
Our nets protect roads - especially freeways, paths and promenades - effectively against snowdrifts and shifting sands.
These special nets made from durable polyester have been developed for the use in extreme weathers in order to help making the dangers of winter in traffic and sand erosion in summer controllable.
The coarse mesh version of PROTECT S2 fencing material has proven itself as a snow fence on roads and motorways in outdoor areas. In spring and summer, the system protects against shifting sands or sand erosion on roads with adjacent agricultural land.
SNOW FENCING SYSTEMS PROTECT S2-R AND PROTECT S2-U
We offer our fencing material „Protect S2“ as well as a complete fencing system including a set of corresponding items like posts and fixing material to protect against erosions at roads, promenades and fields (PROTECT S2-R). Also available pre-assembled in rolls of 25 m (Protect S2- U).
Useful accessories and spare parts from our product range are available as individual items. Whether it’s lifting and unrolling tools, pile racks, piles, clamps or chains – BRAIDED offers you all tools and matching components for your snow fence from a single source.

PROTECT WD - EROSION CONTROL PROTECTS AGAINST WIND AND DUST
Erosion control, permanent or temporary fences or safety nets - our fencing material PROTECT WD is used widely and variably in agriculture, animal husbandry, gardens and tree nurseries. Our textile protection nets are highly effective in large-scale erosion control against wind and dust as well as in buildings and private balconies.
This highly durable, tight-meshed fencing material PROTECT WD is optimized for outdoor use of erosion control and protection against dust and wind. The range of applications is variable and wide and includes temporary fencing for many businesses.

PROTECT LS - PROTECTION AGAINST SUNLIGHT.
The sun is beautiful. However, too much sunlight can be annoying and even harmful. The long-lasting, fine-meshed net variant PROTECT LS is suitable for special tasks when protecting against too much sun and light is required.

The fine textile material has a particularly shady effect and provides rooms and halls with a more pleasant indoor climate by covering large window areas and light domes – an aspect that is also positive for the climate as it saves costs for energy-intensive air conditioning systems.
Plants are also protected in greenhouses from too much light, too high temperatures and dehydration.
